MISSION STATEMENT

The Arizona Latino Arts aria Cultural Center illuminates, celebrates, and promotes Latinos in Arizona through education, advocacy, and collaboration.

ALAC’S PRIORITIES:

To initiate a campaign and strategy to create the first Latino Cultural Center in Phoenix.

To establish effective Latino arts network for artists, arts organizations, advocates and activists: and offer professional training, communications, capacity- building and technical support.

To advocate for resources, funding, and political and financial empowerment of Latino artists and arts organizations.

To provide art resources to Arizona’s educational system.

To instill an entrepreneurial ethic and standard of prosperity among Latino artists and art organizations.

To foster communication, collaborations, education and understanding between Latino and non Latino artists, art organizations, media and communities
